I have joined Tanya's classes 1.5 years ago. This was my first experience with yoga. Initially I was pretty skeptical about Yoga in general, but very quickly I realized I was really wrong. The exercises in the studio are very interesting and different from one class to another, they challenge a different group of joints or muscles each time, they stress the parts of our body we never exercise or we stress too much during our daily sitting habits near the computer. Tanya's yoga inspired me to change my life style and eating habits as well. Since I joined 1.5 years ago I lost 30lbs. I am able to do exercises which I never dreamed I could do even in my childhood: for example various types of headstands and stretches. A year ago, I started practicing yoga with Tanya, inspired by my friend who is also Tanya’s student. Particularly inspiring was the magnificent transformation of the way my friend looks – fitter, slimmer and happier – which motivated me to start my own yoga journey. I tried doing yoga several times in my life and hated every aspect of it. Over the years I realized that weight training is not enough for healthy body and decided to give yoga another try. But this time I chose private lessons with a really good yoga instructor. After two months I can admit - I love it! I've never thought that I would last that long cause usually I was done after 1-2 sessions. 🙂 Tanya is a very knowledgeable yoga instructor, she is really passionate about what she is doing. In addition, she is a very positive and wonderful person. Absolutely amazing instructor! Tanya is an ideal yoga teacher - extremely knowledgeable in various yoga types, has time for each student, and is a pleasure to look at when she teaches. Each class routine is developed depending on the class skill level, and she gives enough challenge for everyone - from advanced student to a beginner, and also has a very individualized approach to her students. Just in a couple of classes I was able to improve posture, relax upper back, and increase flexibility. The studio itself is very nice, relaxing and welcoming. Tanya is possibly the best yoga teacher in GTA and is definitely worth the money.

My husband and I enrolled in yoga classes in November 2019 for the first time. We are so happy that we found this cozy yoga studio. Tanya is an amazing teacher, always shares positive energy, always finds time for each student to ensure that we receive the benefits of each pose. She knows how to make you switch off and get in harmony with your body and spirit. In addition to feeling the lightness of the physical body after exercise, I am filled with inexhaustible energy. I highly recommend Anahata Heart Yoga Studio. I’ve been attending classes for the last eight months and feel fantastic. Tanya is really in touch with my individual needs and has really been a mentor as i progress in my practice. The power yoga class is intense and different every class. Also, the restorative classes are great for beginners. Class sizes are small and everyone gets personalized attention. Tanya is very knowledgeable and encourages you to communicate your physical concerns so that she can aide in your development. Studio is clean and well maintained.read more

I am a yoga beginner and fell in love with this place from the very first session. This warm and cozy small studio has friendly and welcoming atmosphere for everyone. I was looking for small groups and private sessions and found both of them. Whatever internal demands brought you to yoga you will find the answers and directions here. Tanya is very attentive and passionate instructor. She will make sure that your personally preferred learning style is accommodated here. She can teach different styles of yoga and customize the practice for your own needs. I like that other students in the group also express their passion about the classes. I have been training with Tatyana for the last two years and attend her group classes twice a week. She utilizes an extremely personable, holistic, and spiritual approach to each one of her clients. The studio is well-equipped and has a very soothing ambiance. I was always thinking that Yoga is not for me and that Yoga is slow and monotone. Apparently, I was wrong. My wife and i did a private lesson and Tanya told me that I should join the Power Yoga class and she was 100% right. It combines yoga practice and very good workout. Tanya makes every lesson is different so its always interesting. Tanya has a unique ability to inspire people and move them to their next level.read more

Tanya is an amazing instructor and it has been an incredible experience practicing yoga with her. She is very patient, never rushes through the poses and gives you ample time to work on each Asanas. I have taken several yoga classes before but this has been the best . I have never taken any yoga classes before and I felt in love with it from the very first class with Tanya. Being very knowledgeable and patient with a newbie like me, Tanya was able to inspire and motivate me not to give up despite my challenges. As a person who has never been involved in any physical activities I was really thrilled with my first yoga experience with Tanya in her amazing Anahata Heart Yoga Studio! After few one-to-one classes for the start I quickly switched to semi-private and group lessons. Small size of groups gives you feeling like having a private class- Tanya always works with every student to help with alignments and correct poses. I’ve been attending Tanya’s classes for about 2 years. Tanya’s teaching style is supportive and encouraging. Her personal alignment, strength, and flexibly are impressive and quite inspiring. After each session, I walk out feeling renewed, with improved mental and physical balance. While the classes build on prior experience, they are not repetitive, rather, Tanya ensures that your body always gets challenged with a variety of poses. She also adjusts class intensity based on energy levels of the participants on any given day, to provide the most suitable level of practice. Tanya is an extremely knowledgeable, resourceful and intuitive yoga teacher. By that I mean that she knows exactly when and how to help in order to improve and make my yoga practice work for me. We do a variety of different sets, so it is never routine or boring, as well as Tanya adjusts the sets according to my own personal goals and preferences, which I really enjoy.I can honestly say that when I took up yoga in the spring, it was just something that I had to do to take care of my body, whereas now I can happily say that I love it and I’m looking forward to my yoga sessions and Tanya can take all the credit for that.Highly recommend!read more
